Kismet of Terarossa
Kismet was bred by Katrina Routson of Terarossa Lodge Friesians, we are very blessed to include this beautiful mare into our breeding program. Kismet has a very ‘wow’ presence, she is a very elegant and feminine looking mare, with a very kind and gentle temperament.

Mystic Shadows Midnight Foxfire (Foxy)
Foxy is 50% Friesian and 50% Thoroughbred, at the time of the photo in Dec 2025 she was 20 years old. Foxy is a kind and sensible mare who when put to a pure Friesian stallion, produces very Friesian type foals. We have 2 of her female progeny in our breeding program, see Zoe and Louie.

Zoe is 66% Friesian and 34% Thoroughbred out of Foxy and by AFWHS Stallion Keeyan. Zoe is a beautiful natured and kind mare, very easy for any person to handle. She has had 2 beautiful foals to Henrik OP, one of which we have retained for our breeding program.

Louie
Louie is 75% Friesian, her dam is our Foxy and sire is Yasper van Gelder. Louie is a beautifully kind natured horse, when bred with a purebred Friesian her foals are 87.5% Friesian and look just like a purebred Friesian. See Hubie (insert link here)
Friesian Warmblood Mare
Hillview Lizzie
Lizzie is 50% Friesian and 50% Australian Stock Horse. She is out of ASH mare Sparkles (bred and owned by Julie Taylor) and by Yasper van Gelder. When bred with a purebred Friesian Lizzie’s foals are 75% Friesian and they are powerful, highly athletic and elegant. The ASH infusion really adds something special to the Friesian.

Jane is Perlino and we purchased her as when crossed with the black Freisian, we have a 50% chance of getting a buckskin, which her first foal was, see Bandit (insert link to Bandit). Our goal with Jane is to breed a smaller sized horse with colour that still exhibits the beautiful Friesian traits, but also have the refinement of face and legs that the Arabian imparts. Janes first foal has all of this, including the masses of beautiful Friesian hair!
Our Mares
Hazel Ze van Merindah
Hazel is 85% Friesian, her dam is our Zoe and sire is Henrik OP - grandsire is Eise 489. She is only one of 2 fillies born by Henrik OP before he was gelded. Hazel is going to be tall, she looks like an elegant modern Friesian. She will be included into our breeding program in 2026.
