Miniature Schnauzer Puppy Training Package

When a family purchases a Miniature Schnauzer puppy from Merindah Farm, we are here to provide extensive support to transition and integrate the puppy into your home and life.

Miniature Schnauzer puppies are highly capable learners, often picking up concepts far quicker than adult dogs. The earlier we start their training, the easier it is to guide them effectively through puppy-hood and then guide them through what often can be a very trying adolescence stage, into adulthood.

When purchasing a Mini Schnauzer puppy from us, part of our puppy pack includes our 2 day Learning to Listen behavioral training boot-camp and a follow up refresher training weekend, so a total of 4 days normally valued at $1200 per dog and handler, at no additional cost to new puppy families. This includes training for the whole household where the puppy will reside, we can supply dogs for additional handlers.

The included training at no additional cost is valid for up to 5 months from the date of collecting your dog from us. After this time, the training reverts to back our normal rate.

On pick up day I will give a relevant training skill set to take home and use when communicating with the puppy, that will guide the puppy to continue having the same level of good manners and behaviours that it will have when leaving us.

I recommend booking your first 2 day Learning to Listen boot-camp for 3 to 4 weeks from puppy pick up.

Then I recommend booking your follow up 2 day refresher training, 2 to 3 months from completing your first workshop.

Dog friendly accommodation is available close by or if families are well equipped, camping is available at our farm.

Families must agree to

  1. Abiding with our bio-security requirements to stop spread of Parvo Virus

  2. To provide tick, flea and vaccination records to us prior to attendance, we are parasite free and wish to remain that way

  3. To keep their pup or dog completely at home for 7 days prior to visiting us, this means they stay within the house and yard only. This is to minimize the risk of the dog picking up a gastro virus and bringing it out to share with our dogs and pups.
